i've got a doctorate in chemistry so i have to check all of the chemicals to see if any of them are harmfulDo you read/research the ingrediants in your cosmetics?
i dont research the ingredients unless i have some kind of break out or some kind of sickness. i assume everything is safe
A lot of cosmetics don't even list the ingredients on them, especially makeup like eyeliners and mascara's. You'd have to look up the ingredients online and then look up if those ingredients are safe or not. A lot of people probably assume it's not harmful and don't bother looking it up. For the most part, cosmetics are probably predominately safe, but I've read reports on how lead was found in cosmetics as recently as 2007. But, even if the ingredients were listed on the cosmetics, I doubt they would list lead or other harmful ingredients, especially if it is only traces.
