You may be able to have a Mary Kay logo decal put on your car with your phone number and website address. AND if you do this, check with your accountant, you may be able to deduct your car expenses, including having it put on, and your car payment...as a business (advertising) expense.





If you do this, choose a method that is reversible...paint that you can cover up, or decals that come off...so that you don't affect the resale value. Also check if this is allowed if you are leasing your car, or if it otherwise doesn't quite belong to you.





Even if you don't make any permanent changes to your vehicle, you can certainly advertise with a small sign in the back dash...but I don't know if this would be something you can write off.





Aside from the car, you can volunteer to give facials at nursing homes or in hospitals, or in other residential places like a rehab facility or women's shelter. You would very likely need permission, and the most you would be able to do after the kindness, is offer a brochure with your name and number...no hard sales pitching. If you are dealing with people who cannot get around, they will likely have visitors who see your booklets, or need gifts from time to time and have limited shopping ability.





You can also buddy up with anyone you know who does craft fairs and flea markets. Offer to share the cost of renting a booth, and set up a little corner of it with your stuff.





You can leave your brochure at any office where a lot of women work.





I love Mary Kay. Give out business cards and ask for referrals from your happy clients. If you keep your clients happy, they will send you more business. Invite them to host parties for their friends and have door prize and such.
