Mercury in your cosmetics: have anybody tried this?

i just tested this. i smeared some powder and blush on (from several drugstore brands) to plain white paper, and rub it with gold ring.

after a while, black traces appeared on the paper.

from the information i got, the black traces are signs that the product contains mercury (Hg)

is that really mercury?

no this isnt mercury the reaction is acutally caused from talc in the makeup im 32 and we have been doing that since i was in school the girls would run a ring or ear ring up your face to make a black streak and screw up your makeup the only tested and revealed case of a dangerous item in makeup was the test done on red lipsticks of all brands and the results were they contained lead not mercury hope this helpsMercury in your cosmetics: have anybody tried this?
