Does one need a business license to sell Avon/Mark cosmetics in Indiana?

I'm just curious, I looked on the government site and it was really confusing!!!

You don't need a license at all once you have signed the Avon contract that allows you the right to sell the Avon products


When you join Avon it is your business so you do what you choose to do with it as you please.





Personally for me it has been worth while. I am able to make $250 every 2 weeks in addition to my full time income.





Not sure if you are aware but now you can sign up to become a representative online plus it is only $20 to get started and you could sign up now online. Plus, with all the support that is available out there you should be able to make a great income.

not that i know of. The only thing you would need a business license for is if you are operating an actual store. Most of the time when you work with Avon you just sell out of your home
Certainly a business storefront must be licenced and regestered with a name at the courthouse. Door-to-door is a local issue generally, some license/regulate...some do not.
