You can also take prescribed medications on the plane with you in a bag which must fit under seat of plane, as long as the prescriptions are labeled with your name and are NOT liquid.

You can take dry cosmetics in your make up bag on the flight, such as lipstick, face powder, but you can't take lip gloss or liquid foundation. I have just returned from Australia and used lipstick during my travel and packed my lip gloss in my suitcase.
